This picture was taken November 2005. Why such an old picture? Because today my niece, the beautiful little girl in the picture, Mandelyn, has been gone 27 months. She was only with us here on earth for 35 months and as we approach that number, my heart aches more and more. Cameron loved his cousin more than anything, until his brother came along, and then there was room to love another person just as much. I have said Mande was Cameron's practice sibling. They were just under 4 years apart, but the minute she came into this world he was enamored. This picture is my FAVORITE picture of them. It hangs on Cameron's wall along with MANY other pictures of them together. When I look at this picture, tears hiding in my eyes, I remember their time together fondly.
