FOR TODAY...January 4th

Outside my window...the sun is beginning to set in overcast skies.

I am thinking...I need a visit to Urgent Care!

I am thankful for...a new oven sitting in my kitchen.

I am wearing...jeans, t-shirt, and slippers.

I am remembering...what 2 years ago was like.

I am creating...nothing...yet.

I am going...to take Peyton with me to Urgent Care this evening.

I am reading...and LOVING PrayerWalk by Janet Holm McHenry.

I am hoping...everything on my To Do list gets done this week, our last of a very long, very tiring, 3 week Christmas break.

On my mind...my earaches.

Noticing that...no matter how hard I try, January 5th will come, I will remember, and the rage will once again fill my heart.

Shopping (Project 365/2010)

Teachers get paid once a month. This means that you will find me at Target, around the first of every month, filling up a basket, sometimes 2, with household necessities. Today was such a day, and here is a picture of some of the loot (minus 2 diaper boxes for Peyton, a pack of 8 paper towels, and 36 rolls of toilet paper). ;)

Project 365/2010

You know that old saying, "Always a bridesmaid, never a bride?" Has nothing to do with what this blog is about. he he he Okay, seriously, I'm such a follower, and never a leader. My friend Sherida was inspired by a friend of hers, and therefore has inspired me. Seriously, anyone who knows me knows my camera is an extention of my right hand. This project is right up my alley. The idea is to take a picture each day of your life and then blog about it. Easy peasy!

I hope I can remain accountable for downloading pictures each day. :)

Open Grandpa (Project 365/2010)

I could write a book on how shafted I feel for not being allowed a relationship with my father while I was growing up. However, my heart skips a beat everytime Grandpa comes over. Tonight Grandpa, Grandma Brenda, and Uncle Josh came over with Christmas presents for the kiddos. Peyton tore off the paper and then handed her dollie over to be opened. :)

A Boy and His Dog (Project 365/2010)

After Cameron was done pooper scooping, he didn't come back in the house. When we went looking for him, he and Jake were asleep on the porch swing.

Happy New Year

Each and every resolution I made last year...FAILED. I pretty much deserve a big, fat, F for the year 2009. So I've decided to make Twenty Ten the year! I, personally, have made resolutions, but I'm not putting them out there for everybody else to see...YET! Just know that there will be some exciting changes coming my way, both personally, and for the family. And Twenty Ten will be our year! :D

Outside my window...the roses are blooming.

I am thinking...Monday...UGH!

I am thankful for...all the kiddos being on the mend.

I am wearing...bermuda shorts and black Barbie t-shirt.

I am remembering...and forgetting a million things that need to get done the next couple of weeks.

I am creating...nothing.

I am going...to dance with my daughter in a few minutes.

I am reading...nothing.

I am hoping...this constant headache I've had will FINALLY go away.

On my mind...headache.

Noticing that...I feel less like myself everyday.

Pondering these words...But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness. James 3:17-18

From the kitchen...roasted vegetables with penne pasta.
